Digital baseband signal generation for RF testing of wireless transmitters

Radio frequency Integrated Circuit designers are striving hard to create next generation reconfigurable RF front ends as international wireless market transitions to 4G and 5G technologies. The success of these RF front ends can be evaluated by testing and validating their designs using complex real world signals. This project aims to develop digital baseband signals that meet international standard for RF testing of wireless transmitters and hence to make them easily accessible for research in RFIC. Digital baseband signals blocks will be designed and implemented in the Mathworks Matlab Simulink environment .The signals will be up converted to RF by interfacing .mat file with Vector Signal generator and analysed through Vector Signal Analyser.
