RF Energy Harvesting

The major workable prospect of this project is to investigate a very acutely needed demand of renewable green power sources. The ever increasing demand of energy cannot be addressed on its own by relying upon conventional resources of fossil fuel and thermal- chemical energies itself. In the light of tap-able resources of renewable or reusable energy, one of the most promising aspects is power generation through ambient RF and we are analyzing the practicability and proof of concept using techniques of Energy Harvesting. The module discussed so forth is a complete design of rectenna (antenna + rectifier). The rectifier in the design circuit converts RF signal into DC. The idea of adaption of power from capturing the energy signals roaming around in desired frequency band range brings to life the idea of economical, reliable and safer energy for today’s ever changing energy demands.
